Theosis

A talk from Macquarie University Sofia Fellowship with guest speaker Fr Panteleimon Toumbelekis, 2 September 2025.

He discusses Theosis and our participation in the identity with which God has intended us to be.

To become untied with God is to be transformed into His likeness.

"The image lies in our capacity for virtue and for communion with God. But the likeness comes through our free cooperation with Divine Grace." - St John of Damascus
