GO TEENS NSW

The collaboration of GO Family & Friends and GO Youth NSW has led to the vision of a ministry for teenagers, named GO Teens NSW. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia has heard the cries from our teens and their parents, and wants to give them both the platform for their voice to be heard and for the gap between them to be bridged. This ministry is exclusively for teenagers and their parents. to give our teenagers a safe space to express their concerns, opinions, wants and needs within an Orthodox context, and to educate their parents in emotional understanding and coaching them. Our teenagers will have the opportunity to take initiative and responsibility within the Church. Various initiatives have and will be organised to give teenagers the space to express themselves, and their parents the opportunity to see their teens with their teens eyes.

As His Eminence Archbishop Makarios says, "we shall give greater emphasis to the younger generations. Young people … are not simply the future; they are also the present of the church.”
